Y-Type Strainers are devices used to mechanically remove unwanted solids from liquid, gas or steam lines through a perforated or wire mesh straining element. They are used in pipelines to protect pump lines, meters, control valves, steam traps, regulators and other process equipment. Thanks to the manometers on hot and cold water systems, compressed air, saturated steam, acid and alkaline-free liquid fluids, the blockages occurring in the filter over time can be monitored and pressure losses can be monitored.
