Y Type Pressure Reducing Valve

The Duyar Y-7005 model pressure-reducing valve is an automatic control valve designed to reduce higher inlet pressure to a constant lower outlet pressure regardless of changing flow rate or inlet pressure.

It is a hydraulically controlled, pilot-controlled, diaphragm globe and Y-type valve. When the outlet pressure exceeds the pressure setting set on the pilot valve; the main valve and pilot valve are closed drip tight. The control system is very sensitive to slight pressure changes and instantly controls the main valve to maintain the desired outlet pressure. Pressure adjustment is made with a single adjustment screw on the pilot valve. In water conduction networks that have variable flow rate values, it is recommended to use the smaller pressure reducing control valve diameter than the present pressure-reducing control valve diameter as a by-pass line.
