Test and drain valves are used for testing and maintenance of sprinkler systems. Utilizing the orifice of different sizes inside, it creates a flow equal to the flow passing through only one sprinkler, and in case of a sprinkler water flow, it is ensured that the alarm devices in the lines are tested for control purposes. The orifice diameters of the smallest sprinkler and test drain valve in the system must be equal. By changing the valve position, they are also used as drain valves to drain the water in the pipes. There is a sight glass on it to observe the flow.
