Railport Prefers Duyar for the Kartepe Intermodal Logistics Terminal Project!

Railport, the investor in the Kartepe Intermodal Logistics Terminal Project in the Kartepe district of Kocaeli, has chosen Duyar products for the fire and HVAC systems.

The Kartepe Intermodal Logistics Terminal Project, a first in Turkey, is being developed by Railport, a company of the Arkas Holding Port and Terminal Operations Group, with Sera Yapı as the main contractor. The terminal will serve as a logistics center directly connected to trade routes stretching from China to Europe.

Both Railway and Road

Covering a total area of 265,000 square meters, the Kartepe Intermodal Logistics Terminal will accommodate both rail and road transport. Once completed, it will function as both a leading dry port in the sector and a bonded area.

‘Duyar Products Will Add Quality to the Project’

In an interview with Mr. Osman Alpaydın, Mechanical Works Group Manager at SERA Construction, he expressed satisfaction with working with Duyar. He mentioned that all Duyar products selected — particularly the hydrant, gate valve, and junction valve set — will contribute significantly to the project’s quality. He also stated that SERA Construction plans to continue using Duyar products in future projects.
